Sometimes Treasure Finds You

August was a very hot and dry month in NE Pennsylvania.  One day I was out watering the front yard and took a step back as I thought I had spotted a snake.  To my surprise it was a necklace.  I asked the neighbors if anyone had lost any jewelry, but they all replied no.  The only theory I can come up with is maybe a crow brought it in.

The necklace is sterling silver and is 20" in length and weighs 1.5 ounces (on a postal scale).

Looks kind of like a snake...especially from 10 feet away.
