In the Desert

I was stationed in the southwestern U.S. for approximately 10 years during my Army career.  We lived in White Sands Missile Range, NM; El Paso, Texas and Tooele, Utah.  My wife and I both enjoyed going out into the desert rock hounding, looking for Indian relics, Indian caves, and exploring the mountains.  Many of the Indian rock art and paintings that we found are hidden away in the mountains accessible only by four wheel drive vehicles.  They are seldom seen except by the occasional hiker or adventurers such as ourselves.  We still enjoy talking about our adventures in the desert.
