Civil War Carved Bullets

Carved civil war bullets.

Carved civil war bullets bottom view.

The bullets on each end were carved from .58 caliber three ringers.  The bullet second from right appears to be carved from a .54 caliber Sharps.  The bullet second from left was most likely a .54 caliber Sharps flat base.  Bullets were often carved during slow times.  I guess it was even true back in the civil war about the old army adage "Hurry up and wait".
