Metal Detecting Finds 1956 Class Ring

Below are the results of several hours of metal detecting along and in the canal. In addition to the class ring a silver Roosevelt dime and an 1853 silver three cent piece were also recovered. In the relic department are an assortment of fishing sinkers, bullets and a stamped brass bell.

	Fishing sinkers and .22 bullets. Notice the "homemade" sinker with the old braided black line. Brass bell stamped "India".
