September 4, 2000 Below are the results of several hours of metal detecting along and in the canal. In addition to the class ring a silver Roosevelt dime and an 1853 silver three cent piece were also recovered. In the relic department are an assortment of fishing sinkers, bullets and a stamped brass bell. Initials inside are PSM Flemington, New Jersey (?) 10K Gold
