Five wheat pennies and a school pendant.  The 1944 was right on top of the ground.
The mark to the right of Lincoln's face is from my probe.  Who expects a wheat on top of the ground?
This is the reason why I do not probe coins past 2 to 3 inches.
A mark like this one on a silver coin could really ruin your day (and I have done that!)
